Two of the most common Temporary visas are:

Electronic Travel Authority (ETA)
Probably the simplest visa, the ETA is applied for you by your travel agent when you visit Australia as a tourist.

Working Holiday
Working holiday visas are available to people from countries which have a reciprocal agreement with Australia.
These countries include the UK, Netherlands, Canada, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Germany, Malta, Sweden,
Denmark, Norway and Finland. Working holiday visas are specific to young people who wish to work for short
periods of time while visiting Australia.
